The Three Phone Apps
Which folder builds which app, the order to set them up in, and how to run them on a phone.
Zipkart has three phone apps. Each is its own Flutter project with its own package name, and all three use the same Firebase project.
customer/ · Android, iOS and the customer website · com.zipkart.customerstore/ · Android, iOS and the store panel website · com.zipkart.storedriver/ · Android and iOS · com.zipkart.driverSet them up in this order#
Done in Step 2
Your package names and the Firebase connection are already set. This step makes the apps yours and builds them for the stores.
Everything else is in the admin panel
Shop name, logo, colours, fonts, sign-in methods, payment gateways, map provider, languages and texts are not in the app code. You change them in the admin panel and the apps update without a new build.
Run an app#
Connect a phone with USB debugging on, or start an emulator or the iOS Simulator, then:
cd customer
flutter pub get
flutter run
Use cd store or cd driver for the other apps.
File → Open and pick the app folder (for example customer), not the whole Zipkart folder. Choose a device in the toolbar and click the green Run button.
File → Open Folder and pick the app folder. Choose a device at the bottom right and press F5.
