The common messages and problems, what causes them and how to fix them. Press Ctrl + K to search for your message.
Setup and deploy#
| You see | Fix |
|---|---|
| This project is on the free Spark plan | Upgrade to Blaze: Blaze Plan & Storage |
| Permission denied while using the Eventarc Service Agent | Normal on a brand-new project. Wait 5 minutes and deploy again. |
| Some functions failed, others worked | Click Deploy again. Only what is missing is sent. |
| The query requires an index | Indexes are still building. Wait a few minutes, or run the setup tool again. |
| Checkout fails with UNAUTHENTICATED | Google Cloud Console → Cloud Run → each service → Security → Allow unauthenticated invocations → Save. The functions still check the user themselves. |
Admin panel#
| You see | Fix |
|---|---|
| This account does not have admin access | Only a super admin can add panel accounts. See First Login. |
| Email sign-in is not enabled | Turn on Email/Password: Authentication |
| Could not reach the database | Check your internet, and that Firestore exists: Firestore |
| Missing or insufficient permissions | The rules are not deployed (run the setup tool), the account is switched off, or the app points to another Firebase project |
Apps and websites#
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Pictures are blank on the websites | Apply Storage CORS: Verify the backend |
| Checkout shows only Cash on Delivery | Switch on a gateway with its keys in Payment Gateways and save |
| The map is OpenStreetMap, not Google | Choose Google Maps in the admin panel and build the app with a key: Google Maps key |
| A page shows 404 after refresh | The rewrite rule is missing: Deploy the websites |
| Could not open this page after uploading a new website build (the browser console shows Unexpected token '<') | The hosting cache still serves the old main.dart.js. Purge your host's CDN or cache, check the build's .htaccess was uploaded, then press Ctrl + Shift + R: Deploy the websites |
| No push notifications | See If nothing arrives |
Sign-in#
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Google sign-in is unavailable on Android | Add the SHA-1 and SHA-256 of every key, download google-services.json again and rebuild: SHA keys |
| Google sign-in closes at once on iPhone | GIDClientID and the google-sign-in URL scheme must match your GoogleService-Info.plist: iPhone release |
| Google sign-in refused on the website | Add the domain to Firebase Authorized domains |
| Phone OTP does not arrive | Blaze plan, Phone switched on, SHA keys added. While testing, add test numbers with fixed codes in Authentication → Sign-in method → Phone. |
Riders and stores#
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| A rider gets no Quick orders | The rider must be approved and online, inside the order's zone, within 15 km of the store, with a location less than 5 minutes old, not busy, and with at least the minimum wallet. Quick Commerce must be on. |
| The search stopped | After about 5 minutes without a rider the search stops. The store can search again or assign a rider. |
| No sound for new orders | Phone: allow notifications and keep the New orders channel on. Web panel: click once in the page after opening it; browsers play sound only after a click. |
Flutter builds#
flutter clean
flutter pub get
On a Mac, for iOS, also run pod install --repo-update in the ios folder. If flutter doctor shows problems, install what it lists and run flutter doctor --android-licenses.
